HongKong: Avenue of Stars

Your HongKong adventure is not complete if you have not set foot to the Avenue of the Stars where the famous sculpture of Bruce Lee was standing, probably it’s the most pictured place in HongKong and its free. So picture all you can by the bay and the skyscrapers as your backdrop.

We did not stay too long because the weather is so hot, as much as we wanted to stay and wait for the dancing light, we just took some photo and head back to the hotel to check out and catch our boat going to Macau. Anyways there’s always a next time, there is so much to explore in HongKong and we couldn’t pack it in just 3 days.

HongKong: Star Ferry

After a long walk we took a break and freshen up back to the guesthouse. Our next destination is the Victoria Peak, the highest point in HongKong. To get there, there are ways you can get to Victoria Peak, you can take the ferry boat going to Central or take the train going to Central Station. We choose going to Central by using the Star Ferry boat, from our guesthouse we walked all the way to the docking station.

HongKong: Wong Tai Sin

Upon arriving HongKong, we hurriedly went to the guesthouse where we will be staying for2 nights, we left our luggage and head out to our first destination which is the Wong Tai Sin Temple. I don’t know why I always include at least one temple on my itinerary, It’s probably because Wong Tai Sin Temple is a temple for making wishes? πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ well there’s nothing wrong, since my wish might just came true! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Wong Tai Sin Temple is a well known shrine and major tourist attraction in Hong Kong. The Taoist temple is famed for the many prayers answered: “What you request is what you get” via a practice called kau cim.

Review: Charlie Brown Cafe HongKong

I first found this themed cafe while searching for “the must eat in HongKong”, so I got really excited to try and experience this unique themed cafe just around the corner of Β Cameron Street, just a walking distance from where I’m staying. We went there for a quick breakfast, but stayed for a bit, to enjoy and adore the place.

The whole cafe has lived up to the theme of the place from interiors, furniture and food they are all themed with Peanuts, Snoopy and Friends. The place is cozy, a very nice place to chill, drink your coffee and just kill time. But if your in business mode and needs to access your email fret not, they do have a wi-fi so you can still can still get connected while having your breakfast or just one of those nights that you’re with friends. Let me show you around..

HongKong & Macau Itinerary

I have prepared an itinerary for my trip to HongKong and I made sure that I have options incase, my first option didn’t work I have a back-up plan. I’m also weighing my options which is best approach and which option where I can save time, money and be able to see as much places with careful planning. By the way I’ll be embarking in Hong Kong and cross and disembark Macau. I know I would save a lot of money if I’m not going to spend a night in Macau, but I don’t want to distress myself in bringing my luggage to places.

So whatever you plan to do, just enjoy the moment and the places. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
