Review: Spiral at Sofitel Manila

I have finally tried the mother of all buffet and one of the best buffet in Manila. I’ve searched all deal site that offers discount to one of the most expensive buffets. Since Spiral is located in a 5-Star Hotel, syempre sosyalan ang place so I dressed up for the occasion, though we’ll be eating like a pig with finesse .:D Got my discount voucher from Cash Cash Pinoy, regular buffet is around utmost 2,450php for lunch and could go as high as 3K for dinner buffet, so when I stumble to an offer in Cash Cash Pinoy, I grabbed it before the offer expires. I must try it! 🙂

So we booked a lunch buffet. Lunch buffet starts at 12 until 3PM, unlucky me since we’re caught in traffic we arrived around 1PM so we only have 2 hours to squeeze in all the food that we can eat. (sulitin.. hahaha 🙂 🙂 :)) When we arrived, we were brought to our reserved seat and start the feast.

Spiral has 21 ateliers you can choose from European to Asian food, they have it. They even have a cheese room, which I never had a chance to try, but I love that there are full of different types of cheese that you probably haven’t seen in supermarkets.

The place is big and you don’t even know where to start, so I started with my comfort food which is the Japanese Food. I love the freshness of their salmon and tuna. Yum!

On my second plate, I got myself some meats and kimchi all from Asian Cuisine, good but nothing special but I love the prawn cake and hacao. I also. got some pizza and baked egg with mushroom and shallots.

I love their desert section, they are literally full of sweets from cakes to candies which kids and kids at heart will truly love. Too bad that when we had our desert there are only few left.  But over all experience is good, staff are very accommodating and attentive, food is nice though I’m disappointed that we did not try their rib eye, I guess its not on their menu that day. If you’re going to ask me if I’m gonna try it again, probably not anytime soon, since its so pricey to have lunch or even dinner in this place, unless someone would treat me? 🙂 Why not! hahaha..
