Hello 2017!!!

I’m having a hard time letting go of 2016, it has been a good year for me and probably the best year ever, I would say! I can’t think of any bad memory that would make me don’t want to look back of this year. Personally, I have gain self development, I have learn to drive though I don’t have a car yet.. 😀 😀 😀 I have also improved in terms of health, I have been insecure of my weight and have been trying for a while losing weight and year 2016 marks the best weight loss I have ever been. I feel I have gain confidence and think positive that anything is possible if you have put your mind into it. Career wise, last year I have been promoted and accepted a new challenge, I personally love learning new thing and accepting challenges. It’s probably the competitive in me, that push me to accept challenges and learn from it. So far I’m loving it, I think I still have a long way and could gain more wisdom. I would like to keep improving myself, recently I was browsing to my Facebook and a language class caught my eye. I’m a big Korean fan, and I love Korea so I was thinking I want to learn a new language. This is what makes me itch right now. hahaha.. One on my list too, is learning to bake! I still need to work on that and the budget as well, so I would need to werk werk werk my ass off.

Travelbug is still very much has been taking over me, hahhaha! I’m thankful that I have been to places that I never knew that I would be. I do have good memories of Japan with my college friends and Thailand as my first out of the country solo trip. I went back to Boracay with my family which is a very big deal for me because I have always wanted them/ us to travel and for the kids to experience the things that we haven’t had when I was a kid. Traveling has also been my sweet escape for all the stress with work and my way of rejuvenating and gaining new perspective. I feel like traveling makes me wiser and patient.

But above all this, I wouldn’t be able to do much, if without the people who love and support me. Who stick to all my crazy traveling ideas, who gave me trust that I could do it, who understand me even on my not so good days.. I’m thankful for them! I love them with all my heart, and I hope one day, I could repay them back. I’m so blessed, that I sometimes, I ask myself if I really deserved it.

So for now goodbye 2016! I will always have good memories of you

Annyeong 2017!!!!

I know you’ll take care of me… Making memories begins now! This is how I want to start it. telling myself that whatever you do, do it with all your heart and what makes you happy. Live in the moment and faith will do the rest! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Review: Klean Kanteen Insulated

When I first heard of Klean Kanteen, I thought its just like any other tumbler out there in the market that it serves it purpose to store water, juices and coffee but what makes Klean Kanteen Insulated different from the rest is that it really keeps your beverage hot or cold for hours.

Klean Kanteen claims that it’s BPA-free and constructed of the best 18/8 food-grade stainless steel with electropolished interior that does not have a liner or retain flavors.

I have been using my Klean Kanteen over a year already and I love it, what I like about the Klean Kanteen is it’s versatility, perfect for any occasion, it can be used for office mug or for outdoor activity as well . It has a tight lid that prevent from waterspill, durable, fun colors to choose from, and it doesn’t retain taste residue no matter what beverage I pour in it. I wanted to have an insulated canister for food which is perfect for my everyday lunchbox going to work. I just think that its too pricey for a tumbler/mug, but it’s sure worth every penny. Klean Kanteen is available in all Certified Calm stores.

My First: Etude Fun Run

Last May 25, 2014, Etude House Philippines held its first “Etude Princess Run” at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It features three categories, 3K, 5K, and 10K. Since this is my first fun run I registered online for a 5K run, just right for my morning habit every weekend. Registration for 5K categories is 600php, not bad since I’m doing it for a good cause. Proceeds of Etude Princess Run 2014 will support Yes Pinoy Foundation headed by Dingdong Dantes.etude

Life Changing Travel Story: A kid’s Bucketlist

If you could go back to being a kid, what memories would you want to remember? When we were kids, we would only think of playing all day with our friends on the streets, running and screaming as if nothing else matters at that time. I remember when I was young, whenever we would go to a mall or visit a relative in Manila, I would often look out of the window, wondering how big the world is, and just one step, I might get lost and never find my way back but if I could go back 20 years ago, I would want to spend more time with my family exploring other places and growing up learning and appreciating the different cultures of our country. Philippines has a lot to offer, different cultures and dialects which makes our country unique from other other Asian countries.

Renewed Passport – Ticket to see the world

I’m happy that I already got my renewed passport today, just in time for my trip to Malaysia. I won’t post the step by step processing of renewing your passport, because I know there are a lot of blogs that provide information on how to renew your passport and get a new passport (if you plan on getting one).

I had to renew my passport due to unexpected trip and mine would expire this year. One of the requirements for traveling is your passport is at least 6 months valid from the time of your trip, so I have to make my move before our trip to Malaysia 😀 . Renewal of passport is made easy by DFA, since they already have satellite offices in Metro Manila, for those who are coming from different parts of the metro you can check DFA website for their nearest satellite office. Processing  time of passport is 15 days for regular, and 7days processing for rush and you can also have it delivered to your door step. This is very convenient for me, since I’m not familiar with other parts of Manila.

Processing Fee:
Regular (15 days processing): 950php
Special-Rush (7days processing): 1,200php
Pick-up: FREE
Courier thru LBC: 120php

So if you’re planning to have a passport or renew them, check DFA’s website for required document and make an appointment thru their website and make sure that you have an early schedule, some satellites office like in SM Megamall tend to be crowded, so if you want to finish the process early, make an early appointment.

My Unforgettable Travel Story: Singapore is Epic

When did I start loving everything about Korea? I guess, when I started watching Boys Over Flower and Gu Jun Pyo played by Lee Min Ho, a lot of my friends are talking about it. I got curious and since then, visiting South Korea is on my bucket list. So when I heard Korean Air Southeast Asia is giving a chance for bloggers to visit Korea, I told myself to why not try my luck and maybe, just maybe I might get a chance to win a trip to Korea for FREE by just sending my unforgettable travel story.  🙂 🙂 🙂

TIP: When Traveling: Things to Bring

Since this is my first time to travel outside the country, I wanna make sure that I have everything that I need. Traveling in a foreign country is something that you have to be prepared of, since you don’t know anyone and you do not have any idea who you can ask for help in case an emergency occurs. So it helps to be prepared! 🙂 🙂 🙂

So below are the list of things that you’ll be needing when traveling, of course the other things still depends on the country you’ll be visiting and depending on the weather and purpose of your visit.

Sample Itinerary for Singapore Trip

Hi there, just got back from my trip to my first ever travel, SINGAPORE! Honestly, Singapore is the least country on my list that I want to go to. Although this is a fine country, they also say that traveling here is not cheap as you think. Months back I wasn’t even excited that I’d be finally be traveling outside the country, I’m not even excited to make plans on where to stay and what to see, Singapore has a lot to offer to tourist, the locale and diverse culture that has already blended on the lifestyle of Singapore, but you can still be assured that its a safe country to travel. Below is the last minute itinerary that I made, but also last minute everything has been totally changed. Whew! I can say I survived Singapore!

Tickets now available at SM Tickets

The first time I heard that his coming back to Manila, I told myself that I have to go and see him again. But the question is, how much are the tickets? And when I heard tickets are already on sale in all SM Ticketnet, I quickly checked their website, and to my surprised of the ticket prices are so pricey! Whoaw! As much as I wanted to see him up close, I can’t afford to buy the VIP ticket so I guess I’ll just have tp settle to a much lesser section, at least I will be able to see him even on the big screen in the Arena (I hope they do have those big screens. 🙂 ) Its weird to listen to an artist where in language is a barrier, I’m sure he’ll be singing songs from his album which are all in Korean, but for me Korean songs has that certain charm that even if you barely understand a thing, you feel as if you understand it, probably its because of the melody and the depth of feeling of the Korean singers. As for Lee Min Ho this is a surprise for all of his fans, he does not only limit his talent to acting but a plus point for him to be able to showcase his talent for singing. I do hope he sings a Filipino song, I’m sure Filipinos we’ll surely get so kilig! heehee…

I hope there we’ll be a meet and greet again before the concert. ^_^ I’ll be waiting!
