It’s been a while since I heard of it and really dying to try their food. Since we got time, we head over to Pioneer where you can find Locavore, the restaurant is near Ace Water Spa and just at the back of Pioneer Center. You can dine inside the restaurant but if you want a more open space, they also have tables outside, so make sure to call them ahead to make a reservation if you want to dine inside the restaurant.
At first glance, their outdoor tables caters for a more laid back atmosphere, where friends and colleagues hang-out and share food and laugh all you want, but if you want a more private and if you’re a non smoker you can check their indoor. When we got there all the tables are reserved so we settled ourselves outside. We asked for their menu and ask for their best sellers. What we ordered:
The chicken is crispy and tender, the sauce is just to sweet for me though, so make sure to combine the sauces to adjust it to your desired tasting.
This has a sweet sauce as well, the sweetness of the sauce is just right. The food that was served to us could feed at least three people. We are so full after finishing everything that was served to us. *thumbs up!* Basically, what Locavore is all about Filipino food that were elevated, they add a twist to the dishes that really made Filipino stand out. Price is affordable and perfect for sharing due to their big servings.
It’s a puff pastry with Leche Pla, salted egg and Dulce de Gatas. I like it! and for refreshment. I ordered this… Apple Shake.
Would definitely go back with my girls.. ^____^ v
