HongKong: Wong Tai Sin

Upon arriving HongKong, we hurriedly went to the guesthouse where we will be staying for2 nights, we left our luggage and head out to our first destination which is the Wong Tai Sin Temple. I don’t know why I always include at least one temple on my itinerary, It’s probably because Wong Tai Sin Temple is a temple for making wishes? πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ well there’s nothing wrong, since my wish might just came true! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Wong Tai Sin Temple is a well known shrine and major tourist attraction in Hong Kong. The Taoist temple is famed for the many prayers answered: “What you request is what you get” via a practice called kau cim.

Visitors of the temple make their wishes on the wishing lotus fountain. Why not!Β  I did! πŸ˜€IMG_4552e IMG_4543e IMG_4542e IMG_4534e

The place is really popular among tourist and the locals as well. I may not share the same religion with them, but I do respect their beliefs and there’s nothing wrong if we observe and give respect to their gods, and besides its a wishing temple. ;DIMG_4528eIMG_4518e

So if you’re in HongKong, don’t forget to go to one of the many temples that you’ll find in HongKong. I hope my wish will be granted soon! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
